#thankyoufornothingdB I‘m usually a pretty chill #thankyoufornothingdBI‘m usually a pretty chill, peaceful & patient person that holds loads of understanding for unforeseen occurrences. But today is one of these days where I do ask myself: what’s the matter with dB? There are countries, where public transportation runs smoothly, whereas here it looks like this: Three out of the five trains I planned to take today were late, each (!) with a delay of at least 40 min, one was cancelled entirely, which in sum made guests wait in the freezing cold for about 4 hours. 🥶 Protecting our planet is something that does mean a lot to me and I am more than willing to travel by public transport even though it’s less convenient than traveling by car. But it would be nice to know, that this isn’t a oneway road and dB would do their part, too. Making travelers wait for hours is not particularly what I understand as being helpful and it surely does not make me want to travel more with public transport by dB. 🤷🏼‍♀️ … and I am positive that I am not the only one. So please, @dbpersonenverkehr take this to heart. 🙏🏾

Let’s have a read. 📖☕️ Thanks @climax_mag Let’s have a read. 📖☕️ Thanks @climax_magazine 💛🙏🏾
Viel Freude beim Lesen. 🤗
No posting. No liking. Just living and enjoying li No posting. No liking. Just living and enjoying life to the fullest lately. 😍🤗 Back home from another trip to Fontainebleau, already eagerly waiting for the next one to come along. This time Bleau generously offered me some early Christmas gifts with quick ascents of ‘La Théorie du Complot’ (7b+, highly recommended), ‘L’Effondrement des Civilisations’ (not recommended), ‘Good Vibrations’, ‘Soupçon’, ‘Tim Tim’ and ‘Parapluie’ (each graded 7a and fun lines to boulder). Psyche is high, whoop whoop. 🙌🏽Merci, forêt de Fontainebleau - always a pleasure. 🎁🥰📸 by @linksrechtslinks in ‘Vodka Martini’ (6c).

‘A flower does not think of competing with the f ‘A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.’ 🌸- Zen sayingLet that sink and live accordingly. 🙏🏾Recently I had a conversation with a friend about jealousy, in particular: jealousy and suppression at work. She told me how she’d been mistreated by her female bosses and that she now refuses to work for other women. Due to her past experiences with female leadership, her decision is absolutely reasonable and if I was her, I’d probably feel similar. So here’s to all of you gorgeous ladies out there: Considering the history of gender equality, it’s been hard enough to get us into positions of leadership. Please let’s be nice and support each other. 💃🏼💕 Each is born with its very unique talents and gifts and there really is no place for jealousy in this world. 🙏🏾#miteinanderstattgegeneinander—📸 Captured by my dad @lenz.joerg 😊
What a precious privilege it is to be alive – to b What a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love. Marc AureliusEach time I return home from work, I feel a weird mixture of pity, exhaustion and raw gratitude. 😌🙏🏾The other day at the bus stop next to the psychiatric office I work at, I witnessed a pregnant Mom, accompanied by her daughter, being on the phone with what must have been the kids’ father. She insulted him in ways I’ve never heard anyone yell at another before, commanded him to get drugs (nope, not medicine) and threatened to kill him if he’s not willing to do what he’s been told. Seeing this neglected child next to her, well knowing that there’s little I can do about it, was heartbreaking. Because the harsh truth is: this isn’t an exception. To be precise, it’s quite normal here. Witnessing tragedies like these make me realize in what sort of middle to upper class bubble I was raised in. Compared to these kids I (and probably most of you who’ll read this) was loved and cared for. We were most likely treated with respect and grew up with a great support system having our backs. Neither of our Moms would have to check if they could afford to buy an ice cream. But for a lot of kids this is everyday life.So why am I telling you this? First of all, I’d like us all to appreciate everything we have a little bit more. Our family we can rely on. Our friends, always ready to cheer us up if something doesn’t go the way we planned it to. A job which enables us to afford a healthy life style. Whatever it is you have, bathe in gratitude. 🙏🏾(…) read on in the comments below, the caption was too long.⬇️
At easeFinally back in love with life again. 🥰 It took two seemingly endless years of struggle to rebuild a “new” life. A life, which I wouldn’t wanna change with anyone else’s. 🤗 After leaving the place my heart felt home at in a cloak-and-dagger operation, it truly has been a bumpy road. However, life always offers us the opportunity to learn heaps along the way. It offers us to gain inner strength, get to know ourselves even better and evolve by successfully handling the uncomfortable situation we’re experiencing. Social Media often makes us believe that the life of XY must be perfect, even though it isn’t. So here are a couple of things life taught me within the last two years which for sure were some of my least favorite ones. 😅 a) Asking for help is ok! Even if you’re a therapist (/ boss/ coach/ teacher/ doctor etc.), there’s nothing wrong with asking for help and seeing one yourself. Because we all need support every now and then. 😊 -> Due to insomnia my therapist suggested to try antidepressants. At first, I was skeptical but since I truly hit rock bottom, I agreed. By now, I am very glad that I did: I was suddenly able to sleep again, my nervous system calmed down and I started to heal. I took the antidepressants for quite a short time (about 2 months) but they really helped to pull me out of the darkness. So yes, seeing a therapist and asking for help and professional advice was a good idea. 😉b) There’s no reason to be embarrassed to struggle (because we all do and it’s part of life! :)). Life’s not linear. There are ups and downs and each experiences both: the highs and the lows. -> When openly expressing the way I felt, I was surprised by how many others felt similar but kept it to themselves because they were ashamed. By sharing how we really feel, we enable others to react supportive and compassionate. There is no shame in saying that we’re not ok. Because as long as we’re trying to hide the hurt, it won’t heal. Wounds need our loving attention rather than be hidden away. Sending tons of love and energy to you guys. 💛😘📸 1) The way I feel now (taken by @wildconnectionsphoto) 🙏🏾😌vs.2) Sums up the last two years. 😅😂
Merci, magical forest of #Fontainebleau 🙏🏾🌿✨ It’s been a pleasure!
